Set in its own fully enclosed garden, Mullins has views stretching out over farmland and you can see down across Southampton Water and even as far as Winchester on a clear day. You may feel tempted to stride out over the fields to buy your morning paper. Not that you are far from civilisation, as Hythe is just minutes away by car and yet pubs and restaurants can easily be reached on foot, if you have a mind to.

There are good transport links by bus or ferry to Southampton, where you will find clubs, cinemas and theatres and one of the best shopping centres in the country. And there is a late night – 3am - bus service for those who fancy clubbing but not driving.

Close to the New Forest, the sea and Southampton, Mullins is the place to stay for all age groups, whether you are nature lovers, walkers, wind surfers, cyclists or sandcastle builders.

There is ample private parking and your rent includes the provision of all linen and cleaning at the end of your stay.

Regret no pets and smokers.

Parents please note that the swimming pool is close to the house and clearly visible. It is 2’6” in the shallow end and 5’9” in the deep end and although fenced off with a gate, you should remain vigilant and ensure the safety of any children using the pool.

There are no steps between the drive and the house, but the stairs make the house unsuitable for those with mobility problems, unless the sofa bed in the sitting room is acceptable for sleeping.
